Cineraria by Vincent Van Gogh in the year 1885. In March 1886 Vincent van Gogh went to live in Paris with his brother, an art dealer. Theo told him that his paintings were too dark and that he had to cater to the taste of possible buyers. This led to the creation of several paintings of flowers and plants, among them this rather stiff cineraria. It’s still not very colourful.
